Last day in Kampala

We have come to the last day here in Kampala. Tonight will be the last service for this time. Here they meet on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, so our friends are constantly refilling. Many wondered if I was going to be here on Monday also, so we’ll surely a great night and hopfully many souls coming to the meeting. When people are hungry for more, then the Lord can fill the tank. Yesterday we were on radio Uganda and held a half-hour appeal to the Ugandan people. Bro. Bolahs wanted me to take the entire program this time. I’ve never been program host before, so it became a telling testimony and an appeal to the people about having a true longing for the Lord, so that He can reveal Himself to them. He who seeks the truth, will also find it.

Grace sat there also, and this time she took up the entire program on her iPad. I did not realize it while the program was on. But now we have this speech as a video recording. If we can get it done , we can post it on our Facebook page.

Today Bro. Leo and his wife is coming to Kampala. They really wanted to join for the last part of our stay here in Uganda and see us well off on the way to South Africa. Bro. Matimbe is already in Durban waiting for us. He had also talked with friends in Johannesburg, so it is probably meetings and speeches; until we sit on the plane on the way home. I’m overwhelmed by this eagerness of continually gatherings.

I read in the Acts of Paul when he was leaving Ephesus, then followed the crowd him; right down to the ship he was traveling with. There, he gave them their final instructions before he boarded. This enthusiasm is just as great here. Tomorrow morning at 3:00 we must start for the trip out to the airport outside Kampala. Entebbe airport still has a bit special echo in my ears. This is where the hijacked plane with the many Jews were stranded; during Idi Amin’s rule, and Israel sent their rescuers by air, freed the prisoners and took them home. It was one of the most successful operations that have been made in modern times. The Lord look to His little flock and sends his helpers to save them from the evil clutches.

Not always do we hear such good reports. Today, people are beheaded for nothing. Innocent people are being put to death just to create fear and terror. But what is happening is only to fill the cup of evil. When it is full, The Lord will put a stop to the madness. I think only of Adolf Hitler. He was allowed to retain and spread his poison for about 10 years. But finally it went to the end with him. Then he had resulted that between 60 to 70 million people died. There were approximately 100 million under the Russian tyranny. China’s Mao Tse Tung was perhaps the worst of them all in terms of the number of dead people, with nearly 250 million people. But the top is surly not reached yet. The great tribulation is waiting like a slumbering monster. When it wakes back to real life, then it becomes a sennario humanity have never ever seen, and as the scripture says, and shall never be again.

Our little mission to travel around and encourage and prepare souls for the prophetic reality that is lain the Bible may seam ever so modestly out. But our task is not only to reach as many people as posible, but to be a voice in the life of those whom the Lord calls us to warn and prepare. For these have called for help and spiritual assistance for some time. Maybe we are just a tiny little niche in a monstrous reality. Paul had a dream in Troas, it is in Asia Minor. There were some in Macedonia stood and shouted, “Come over and help us.” Paul and his group was only a small crowd, but today we see the result of one man’s vision. We’re just doing our part, so does the Lord the rest.

Following the requests and wishes that we have received, we would probably have been able to stay here in Africa for at least another month, but a limit is set for now. There are several months in a year, and transport options are different today than they were when missionaries traveled abroad and never came back again. The next phase is now South Africa. We look forward to meeting our friends there. Thank you for your prayers and participation in this journey.
