Quezon Avenue, Quezon City

We’re Back In Manila

We have made it to Manila and are now located at the home of Bro. Deio and his family. They own a four-story building in the center of Quezon City. There are many townships in this great city. Here they have renovated an annex to host visitors and friends. It is the first time we are at home with them, though we have known them for many years. Bro. Deio is a preacher and helps both bro. Elevera and others in believer groups around. He traveled to Baguio every Sunday for many years to assist the hurch there.

The journey from Davao was filled with waiting time because the plane we were traveling with was not permitted to land in Manila until later in the afternoon. Arriving in this metropolis becomes a test in moving forward. Between congested traffic that almost comes to a stand still, and four lanes that turn in to six, then the usual 20 minutes to get to our destination often increases from one and up to two hours before we arrive at our destination. When traveling with good friends and patient companions the trip is still a nice experience.

Now it is Marikina’s turn. I looked at the map here and we are not so far away from our friends in Bro.Nestor’s church there. We look forward to some nice days with them. All is well with us.
