Baptism in Lagawe

Water baptism in Lagawe

We’re back in our room after our meetings in lagawe this Sunday. Bro. Elevera spoke in morning, and obtained the text from Amos, on how can two walk together unless they agree. A dynamic preaching about being awake during this time. In the afternoon it was my turn again, and I kept continuing on the subject of spiritual gifts. Today I took the basic of how gifts are to work in our lives. The Scriptual reference was 1.Kor.13. about love. If we convert the word love to selfless motivation in our stewardship of the gifts, then our ministry in the body of Christ will come in a better light.

There is not a service where we should show forth ourselves, but rather a task which the Lord shall be great in our midst, and ourselves become wery small. Jesus made wonders, and then he disappeared. He would not advertise himself on the streets. He went quietly, He could only do what the Father instructed him. He could do nothing of himself.

After the meeting we had water baptism again. 5 young brothers went to the baptismal grave

After the meeting we had water baptism again. 5 young brothers went to the baptismal grave, also a son of Sister Agnes, who we were with in Hong Kong were baptized. Another sister from Hong Kong, also came to the meeting today. She was home for a short break and saw her chance to come to the meetings here in Lagawe. They actually have a Hallelujah street in the hills here. Pastor Julian, Sister Agnes from Hong Kong, and Sister Elsa from Taiwan are living really in a row to row on this hill. We met the rest of the families in these meetings.

They wanted me out in the river again to make baptism at this time also. And as desired; so it was done. The venue in lagawe was completely filled this Sunday morning. Friends from other places had also done their arrival. We have had a successful week here in this region. Tomorrow we are heading for Bontok for the next meetings.

All is well with us.
