Our last day here in Zimbabwe is running out. Thursday we are heading for Zaambia and a new adventure. Today we went to Groombridge again for our last service in Harare. That is the place where we prayed for this old sister on her sick bed before we started our trip ot Mozambique. Just hours after we prayed for her, she passed away peacefully and happy. Her daugther in law came over to me after service to night and expressed her great gratitude that we had prayed for her. She told that her condition calmed down and she went peacfully home to be with the Lord that night.
Tonight, I ministered about the beast in Revelation 13 and 17. It was a more detailed Bibelstudy about an area that is quite strange to many. But these things is a positive update on how one is to know the time and its message. There were several positive feedback. We enjoy tremendous confidence in the preaching of the word, so it is an open and receiving congregation in every aspect.
Tomorrow we head for Zambia. Then it will be goodbye to Bro. Matimbe and his friends for now. We’ve really had some wonderful days with them, and the contact is linked in a heartfelt manner. Bro. Matimbe traveled to Europe earlier this year, in April. I knew about it, but we were in the Far East at that time, therefore, there was no talk of any trip to Norway at the time. When he came to Belgium, he was arrested with the allegation that he traveled Politically active for the Government of Zimbabwe. He was in jail for a week. There he witnessed to many souls in prison on the same basis as him. The whole thing was a shame for the Belgian community but that happens sometimes. He was later sent home, and were not able to make contact with his friends in Belgium.
When it all was discovered that the arrest was a mistake, then it was too late. He was, however given a new visa, but then it was too late. The convention was over and the economy was too low to start a new trip. There will be another time. He is certainly positive. We look forward to meeting him again when everything settles right. Remember him in your prayers, he is a good brother.
