Bloomington,IN

We have made it to Bloomington and have started a series of meetings here with Tim McKay and our friends at this place. The first meeting on Wednesday evening was devoted to an understanding of what it means to be in custody according to God’s word.

Custody is an expression of a provisional condition, before one is brought before the court, in order to receive a final judgment on one’s life. All people are taken into custody when they die, and then the life you have lived puts an end to how you will be judged when you are brought before the judge.

So the important part now, is to live your life pleasing to God; and the calling that He has placed upon us. What God’s Spirit inspires us to do, becomes the basis of values that He will later examine. The result then becomes the basis for the tasks He will hand over to us in the kingdom to come. As the scripture says: If you were faithful in that which is small, I will set you over that which is greater.

We are in an end phase of this evangelical age. The Millennium is in the offing. Let’s really put our whole heart, spirit and soul into this final phase, so we can hear a WELCOME HOME, from all those who have fought this battle before us. They hope for us, that we will fight this spiritual battle with the same intensity as the Master himself did. Jesus is our pattern and goal both for this life and the life to come.
