San Matheo

We have arrived at our next gathering here in the Philippines. Bro. Nestor and his friends will now have meetings this weekend, from tonight until Sunday. There is always great anticipation for our gatherings, and so it is also here in former Marikina, now it is called San Mateo, when our friends have moved the location to a new place, as they could no longer hold the meetings in the old place. We have been there before also, but in logic it has been Marikina all along. We just have to update our thoughts a little so we don’t become outdated.

Most of the friends from this Church came all the way up to Baguio and attended the meetings, but now they wanted to have their own convention, and the zeal is great among them. We are now more than halfway through our travel program, but it feels like we have only just begun. That’s good, because then there’s a lot of energy left for the last part. There will be a trip to Davao and Tagum next week. From Mindanao, over 30 people came to Baguio, but it will be just as exciting to get there as well. After all, there are always some who don’t get to travel, and they also need fellowship and community.

Now there will be three meetings here in San Mateo, so join us in prayer for these moments that lie ahead, that the Lord may make everyone’s hearts rooted and firm in the faith, ready for all that He inspires us to accomplish. There is a crown there for everyone who perseveres to the end. God bless you all.
