We have come to Mumbwa

We have now come to a small town called Mumbwa. It is about 155 km west of Lusaka in Zambia and overall, a journey of about 450 kilometers today from Choma. On this trip I was driving part of the trip. Bro. Mawino had been up late last night and was a little tired. It did not show exactly, but he could relax a bit from the driving. In this part of Africa, the roads good and straight. We are in a highland area. We see no mountains here but terrain are endless. It is dotted with vegetation, or shall we call it the bushes and lower trees. Here they call it jungle.
What I associate with jungle, is more tall trees, where one must turn himself through thick vegetation with huge swords. It’s probably more an illusion of older time. In a park in Choma I saw some huge iron balls of nearly 3 m in diameter. These they used to crush the vegetation when they were plowing forward and clear land. They used large crane machines to turn these around. At home I have seen machines with less bullets to destroy large buildings, so the method is probably the same.

We get notices of meetings coming up, both in Uganda and South Africa, as it lacks nothing on the offers to come around. I feel many times that the need is much greater than we can manage to fill, but we have the Lord in our midst, and He can inspire friends and upcoming tools to grasp the revelation we have received as the gift of God to convey, and so go out and do likewise.
I remember Bro. Branham said at a meeting in Oslo, when he was not allowed to pray for the sick by laying on of hands, he prayed that it had to grow up some in this country who could take that message and practice it without such restrictions. Well today we can do it without the obstacle. The Lord sends a torch with a fire that can ignite others, to go around this world to reach every corner of it. He has decided it should be achieved until it is fulfilled.

In this city there are plans for two evenings of meetings. The people here are working, so it can only be evening meetings during midweek. Towards the weekend there will be meetings in Lusaka. We meet a positive attitude wherever we travel, and friends are receptive and open to our preaching. One can say that it is to walk in laid finished works, but the word can also find resistance at any location, so we can not blind ourselves with only positive reception. Paul found resistance wherever he went. But as the Ecclesiastics 3: 1-11 says. It is a time for crying, a time to laugh, a time for war and a time for peace. We must be prepared that anything can happen, without being fearful of the future, it lies in the Lord’s hands anyway. What we need to concentrate on, is to be hidden with Christ in God.

Then all is well with us.
